Earn up to 1,000 bonus Qantas Points with PayPal

Qantas has just teamed up with PayPal offering 1,000 free Qantas Points for linking your PayPal and Qantas accounts. 

Unfortunately, the link to register is targeted so you will need to make sure you’re receiving Qantas marketing emails and search for the following in your own inbox “Earn up to 1,000 bonus Qantas Points with PayPal” to get to the registration page.

How does it work? 

Once you’ve clicked the register button, you will be prompted to log in to your PayPal account to complete a 1c transaction and complete the registration process. 

After this step, 500 Qantas Points are awarded, and you will have the opportunity to earn 3 Qantas Points per $1 up to 500 bonus Qantas Points (or $167 in spend) before the end of April. Of course, this is in addition to points you would already earn from your Qantas Frequent Flyer credit card!

Step By Step

1. Find the email in your inbox
2. Click the register now button in the email
3. Click the PayPal button on the landing page
4. Log into your PayPal account and approve a 1c transaction.
5. Wait 8-10 weeks for the bonus points to show up.

Conclusion 

As a frequent PayPal user, this is a no-brainer for a quick 1,000 Qantas Points. Just keep in mind that P2P transactions (i.e. paying family or friends) are excluded from this promotion.

The promotion is also targeted, so there’s a chance that you won’t get the same email. I hope Qantas and PayPal expand on this partnership in the future as it would be amazing to earn bonus points on every PayPal transaction!
