I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Parmelia Hilton Perth hotel. Whilst i originally booked the $250 Queen Suite, I got upgraded 2 level to the King Premier Suite which is one level above the King Suite and the largest suite available in Parmelia Hilton Perth. This suite retails between $550 and $750 per night depending on the day and date. Overall a fantastic upgrade and a very nice benefit of Hilton Honors Gold (previously Diamond).
The suite is massive, at 90 square meters it’s bigger than my apartment! The suite features a separate lounge and dining area which connects with a double door to the bedroom and generously sized bathroom with connected wardrobe.
The King Premier Suite at Hilton comes with a 6 seat dining table and a small desk if you need it.
Hilton Perth King Premier Suite Lounge
The Lounge area is very spacious and has 2 double seat sofas and 1 single seat facing a large wall mounted TV and coffee station. The minibar is located in the cabinet under the TV and comes stocked with beer, wine and soft drinks. Although the decor in this suite is a tad dated, I noticed they have done some work to modernise it by using glass and marble coffee tables.
Hilton Perth Suite Bedroom
The bed and bedroom are both huge, it almost feels like there is to much space in the bedroom. Is there such a thing? The bedroom has one single seat which looks a bit awkward by itself in this massive room. The bed was very comfortable be the pillows on the other hand are terrible! How hard can it be to provide different pillows to cater to your customer’s need Hilton? All of them where made out of a very uncomfortable memory foam which hindered my sleep.
The bathroom is generously sized with double vanity and a wardrobe connecting the bedroom to the bathroom.
It has a bath and shower but I felt that even though it’s a big space, it wasn’t very functional and the shower itself is pretty tiny. A simple refurbishment of this space could make it a lot better by downsizing the huge bathroom vanity and mirror and increasing the size and comfort of the shower.
Hilton Perth Conclusion
I think Hilton Parmelia Perth has some fantastic offers and perks for its Hilton Honor members and although I wouldn’t pay full price for this suite, it’s a great perk to be upgraded as a HH Gold member. Hilton Perth has no club lounge so they provide you with drink vouchers for the downstairs bar in which you can also enjoy a free complimentary a la carte or buffer breakfast as a gold or diamond member. All in all, a great stay!
